Company History
In the spring of 2004, Erik Potts, founder and
Principal Member of Peace of Mind Genetics,
conducted a search for paternity testing
resources to resolve a personal matter. He found
very few affordable and accessible outlets
offering this service. His desire for knowledge
and intent to help others avoid similar obstacles
led to the creation of Peace of Mind Genetics.
Mr. Potts has been working in the community,
working with various agencies and
organizations. In the spring of 2006 Peace of
Mind Genetics hit the airwaves as a featured
provider of genetic services on Clear Channels,
100.3 The Beats', Dee Lee Morning Shows'
segment named "Paternity Test Tuesday".
Which, opened the minds and allowed
individuals and families to learn of other options
using DNA testing to resolve their issues and
discover the truth. Since then Mr. Potts has
worked with the courts on numerous occasions
and assists attorneys daily with DNA evaluations.
